During his career, Markus has held a wide variety of positions in the field of software development, consulting, and sales. He graduated from RWTH Aachen University in 2015 with a Master of Science in Computer Science. During his studies and afterward, Markus worked as a software developer and consultant. As a Global Solution Consultant at VMware, he gained experience with major international customers. During this time, Markus realized that his interest lies in product development. Therefore, he founded a startup as a technical co-founder, which he accompanied for over two years. The next stop led him to a Machine Learning Startup as Product Manager. In this position, he was able to successfully drive the development of an ML/NLP platform and live through several startup phases. Finally, he brings the gained experience to Carbonfuture as Digital Product Manager to further develop the Carbonfuture platform and make it accessible to more customers. The move to Carbonfuture fits perfectly with his sustainable lifestyle.
