After working for 5 years in international development, Hannes has focused on carbon markets as a tool to scale for nature restoration, where carbon removals play a vital role. At Carbonfuture, Hannes focuses on supporting CDR suppliers in developing their projects and assure compliance with the relevant standards and ththodological requirements. He further looks at how CDRs can be used within corporate value chains, complementing the current voluntary carbon markets through insetting strategies.
